Most bathroom shopping comes down to one question: tile, or a solid-surface system. Tile looks great on day one. Here’s what the next ten years actually look like — so you can decide with your eyes open.

The bathroom is where most home accidents happen. We build walk-in showers and walk-in tubs that are genuinely safer to use — and still look like a bathroom you’re proud of.
- Low-threshold entries — step in, not over (1¾″–4″, set at your appointment, not zero-threshold)
- Built-in benches and corner seating, backed with wood framing so they never move
- Moen grab bars, rated to 500 lbs, anchored into wood framing right where you need them

Solid surface or tile — which should I get?
Solid surface is seamless, has no grout to reseal, is nonporous so it wipes clean, and carries a lifetime product warranty. Tile looks great day one, but the grout is the long-term cost — resealing, scrubbing, mold. We install solid surface for a reason.
How long does a bathroom take?
Most shower, tub, and surround replacements install in 1–2 days. A basic full bathroom remodel typically runs 5–7 days of work. Every project's different — bigger scope, custom cabinetry, or layout changes can extend that — so we give you a clear timeline in writing at your consultation.
Can you make it safer for aging in place?
Yes — and it's what the majority of our customers want. We help with placement of grab bars, benches, and plumbing fixtures for your specific needs, and we back everything behind the wall with wood framing so it never moves.
What if I want to keep a tub?
We recommend keeping a tub in at least one bathroom for resale. That said, accessibility is often the priority — we'll help you decide what makes sense for your home at the appointment.
Do you do the whole bathroom or just the shower?
Both — from a single shower or tub update to a full remodel, including custom cabinetry through our partner Brothers Leal.
Do you move toilets or restructure the bathroom?
We don't move toilets or do major restructuring. We build half-walls, remove non-load-bearing walls within the existing bathroom, and can build a closet or relocate the shower within the existing footprint — but we don't expand into other rooms.
Do you keep the house clean during the work?
We put drop cloths down coming and going and treat your home like our own — across every trade on the job. Some construction dust is inevitable, but we take great care to control it.
What brands do you install?

What's the warranty?
A lifetime or limited-lifetime manufacturer product warranty depending on the system, plus 5-year Excel labor — and no service-fee gate when you call us out.
