STORM DAMAGE RESTORATION · SOUTH SUBURBS
Storm damage? We document it right —and make it right.
When wind or hail damages your roof or siding, we inspect with your permission and build a damage report — photos, measurements, and what the repair actually takes. Then we bring that report to the table when your adjuster comes out. The same crews do the work, and we back it in writing.

How We Help
From inspection to new roof — one team.
Here’s how it goes, from the first look to the finished job.
- 1
We inspect — with your permission
We get up on the roof and walk the siding, document every bit of wind or hail damage with photos and measurements, and show you what we find.
- 2
We build the damage report
Photos, measurements, and a line-by-line scope of what the repair actually takes. That report is the document we bring to the table — not a folder we hand you and wish you luck with.
- 3
We meet your adjuster on site — with the report in hand
We walk the damage with your insurer’s adjuster and make the case for the scope: what’s actually damaged, and what putting it back properly takes. If their scope misses something we documented, we say so and show them why. Your insurer decides the claim.

We do the work — and back it
Once your claim is settled, the same crews install your new roof or siding, and we warranty the workmanship for 5 years.
One team — from the claim to the new roof.
Most homeowners end up managing a contractor on one side and their insurance on the other. We keep it under one roof. Excel inspects, documents the damage, and does the work — and our in-house licensed public adjuster, A to Z Public Adjusters, can represent you on your claim if you choose. The people documenting the damage and the people working your claim are on the same team. You’re never obligated to use A to Z, your deductible is always yours, and we put our relationship in writing up front.
Storm damage — common questions
Reviewed August 2026
Who handles my insurance claim?
That’s your call. Excel does the inspection, the documentation, and the work — and our in-house licensed public adjuster, A to Z Public Adjusters, can represent you on the claim itself if you choose. You can also bring your own public adjuster, or handle the claim yourself. Either way, your deductible is yours and we put our relationship in writing.
Do you do siding storm damage too, or just roofs?
Both. Wind and hail damage siding as well as roofs, and we restore both — often on the same job.
What does the inspection cost?
Nothing. The inspection and the damage report are free, with no obligation.
What if I’ve already filed, or my claim was denied?
Either way, we can come back out, re-inspect, and document the damage fresh — and if there’s a re-inspection with the adjuster, we’ll be there for it with what we found. Whether and how you pursue the claim is your call, and A to Z can represent you on it if you want that.
