Excel started on the South Side and never left. One family, the same name on the truck since 1982.

Excel Aluminum opens
Chris Vuko starts the business out of his garage, doing windows, siding, and roofing.

Excel Windows, Inc.
Chris incorporates. The name has stayed the same ever since.

The Oak Lawn showroom
The first storefront opens, out of the garage and onto the street.
- Early 2000s
A second shop in Glendale Heights
Two showrooms running at once as demand grows across Chicagoland.

Excel Shower & Bath
The bath division opens, with dedicated bath crews.

Home to Tinley Park
Oak Lawn and Glendale consolidate into one Tinley Park showroom.

A new Tinley Park home
Excel moves into the showroom and headquarters it works from today.
