What We Stand Behind
Our warranty, in plain English.
Every install comes with Excel's labor warranty, and the products carry their manufacturer warranties. Here's the short version — your contract has the full terms.
| Division | Excel labor warranty | Manufacturer product warranty |
|---|---|---|
| Windows | 5 years | Lifetime (varies by manufacturer) |
| Doors | 5 years | 20 years to Lifetime (varies by manufacturer) |
| Siding | 5 years | 10 to 20 years (varies by product) |
| Bath — Onyx Collection | 5 years | Lifetime product warranty |
| Bath — BCI Acrylic | 5 years | 25-year limited lifetime |
| Roofing | See your contract | Manufacturer warranty per product (GAF / Owens Corning) |
These numbers are general. The specific written warranty for your job — Excel's labor warranty and the manufacturer's product warranty — is part of your contract and is the controlling document. Read it.
Warranty — common questions
What does Excel’s labor warranty cover?
Our own installation. If something we installed fails because of how it was installed, we come back and fix it within the labor-warranty period. The specifics are written into your contract.
Is the warranty transferable if I sell my house?
Sometimes. Some manufacturer warranties transfer to the next owner; some don’t. We tell you which is which during your consultation, in plain English.
What voids a warranty?
Usually damage from something other than the product or our install — storm damage, an unrelated contractor’s work, or neglect. Read your written warranty; ask us anything that’s unclear.
Where do I find my exact warranty?
It’s part of your signed contract — both Excel’s labor warranty and the manufacturer’s product warranty. That document is the controlling one. Keep it somewhere safe.
