Serving Palos Park, Illinois

For Palos Park's wooded, large-lot homes.

Palos Park is the wooded one — an affluent village of acre-plus lots, ringed by forest preserve, with its own SouthWest Service Metra stop and a Village Green downtown. By ordinance the lots run big; the housing is custom-leaning, from 1950s wooded-facade ranches to newer builds, plus townhome pockets like McCord Place and the Commons of Palos Park.

Bigger custom homes mean bigger window openings — picture and bay units, lots of glass facing the trees — and that's work we love. We measure each home, show you the lines that fit it, and handle the windows, doors and siding under one roof, one crew, one warranty. (And yes — Palos Park is its own village, distinct from Palos Heights and Palos Hills.)

“We just completed a tub-to-shower conversion and had a comfort height toilet installed. It was time to get rid of the 1970's era pink bathtub/toilet and upgrade.”

Palos Park — common questions

Does Excel really serve Palos Park?

Yes — Palos Park is one of the south-suburb towns we work in most. We're based in Tinley Park, a short drive away, with the same crews on the road across the area every week.

Who actually does the installation?

The same installation crews, job after job — not a rotating cast off a day-labor board. They know our products and our standards, and our 5-year labor warranty stands behind their work.

How much will my project cost?

It depends on the product and the size of the job, so we don't quote blind. The in-home consultation is free: we measure, show you the options, and leave a clear written proposal — no pressure. Financing is available; ask about options.

Why are Palos Park homes on such big wooded lots?

Village zoning sets a roughly one-acre minimum, and forest preserve wraps the village on three sides — so you get custom homes on tree-heavy, acre-plus parcels. That usually means larger window openings and more glass, which we spec and fit per home.

Is Palos Park the same as Palos Heights or Palos Hills?

No — they're three separate villages. Palos Park has its own ZIP (60464), its own Metra station and a downtown Village Green. We serve all three, but each as its own town.
